Generations of leaders have built this city into what it is today – home to world class educational institutions, a thriving arts and culture scene, and a community spirit like no other.

We started artsScene Edmonton with a mandate to socially engage young professionals through the arts and cultural industries. It was about getting people out. In our first year, nearly 1,500 of you came out to connect and experience what our community had to offer. We think that’s a great success.

But this was part of a bigger vision. Together with our sister organization, Startup Edmonton, we have a plan to transform Edmonton into a creative and entrepreneurial hub that connects young people with each other and the world.

If Edmonton is going to make its mark in the new global economy, the time to act is now. And we believe it’s up to us as young leaders to make it happen.

To do this, we rely on grassroots support to keep moving forward, to keep delivering great events, and to keep bringing this community together to connect, do and win.
