Last month we hosted another sold out event, an artsScene Summer Patio Party + Behind the Scenes at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. Even though we spent the majority of the time indoors the luxurious Wedgewood room, rather on than on the patio (thanks to the haze) it was one of our best Behind the Scenes so far!

Featured artists included Sarah Jackson showcasing her new project “Angles of Love” and a great musical mashup between Jerrold Dubyk Trio and DJ Sweetz (Mindy Cooper).

We had a couple rounds of tours to keep the groups more intimate, led by the wonderful staff at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. Did you know that Edmonton’s Fairmont opened in 1915 and is Edmonton’s only four-diamond heritage hotel? It has 199 rooms and suites.

What could be more fun than a photo-booth while the tour groups were rotating?
